This is triology became pretty famous after Prime released the show The Summer I Turned Pretty. But where did the whole idea of the show came from? Well everything started from the book triology written by the very famous authoor, Jenny Han. Lets face it – we all know her, at least the teenage girls and the young women. And we can all agree that she’s a great writer!
These are the 3 books’s names:
- The summer i turned pretty
- It’s not summer without you
- We’ll always have summer
Well they all are great readings, but I indeed am a great reader who somehow decided that the last book, We’ll always have summer, is the first one. So I read the last one as it was my first(which would’ve been a slap to the author, to be honest), and I was taken a back of how there was already a wedding. See, the main character, Belly was dating her best friend, Jeremiah, but this not so cool guy cheated on her, and it happened so that after she found out about it, they got engaged( an absolute shock, I know). And after i finished it, I found out that I’ve been reading in a very wrong way, so I read The summer I turned pretty next.
I fell in love with the books and they’re still one ove my favourite readings! I highly recommend them!
And good idvise from me:
- NEVER read the third book, thinking that it’s the first one.
- You MUST watch the show The Summer I Turned Pretty after you read everything.
